On May 10, 2019, Événements Momento had the honor of planning, organizing and coordinating the evening celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Centre de Données Maritimes. This prestigious event brought together over 100 customers, partners and employees in the incomparable Port of Montreal model hall.
An enchanting setting
The room, decorated and furnished especially for the occasion, offered a most spectacular setting. The 61′ by 9′ model of the Port of Montreal, along with a number of maritime artifacts and ship models, created a unique and elegant ambience.
A warm welcome
Guests were warmly welcomed by General Manager Benoit Forest and employees of the Maritime Data Center. Throughout the evening, they were treated to delicious appetizers, wine and chef-prepared dishes, and photobooth shots. Music by the Jazz Midnight Trio and DJ Yannick Proulx added to the festive atmosphere.
Tribute to the builders
A speech by the General Manager highlighted the 50-year history of the Maritime Data Centre and paid tribute to the work of past directors, board members, employees and staff in attendance.
A lasting souvenir
To thank guests for attending the event, CDM presented them with a gift bag containing several items bearing the logo of the Centre de Données Maritimes, as well as a CO2 offset gift certificate. The certificate symbolizes the Centre de Données Maritimes’ commitment to sustainable development. The purchase of trees for each guest offset 17.83 tonnes of CO2 for this event.
The Momento Events team is proud to have contributed to making this evening a resounding success and a milestone in the history of the Maritime Data Center.
